Saturday, February 23, 4 p.m.

ProMusica of Washington Adventist University, was established in 1967 by the late Paul Hill and reestablished (after a hiatus) by James Bingham. The choir maintains a heavy schedule of services and concerts, traveling extensively both nationally and internationally. It has appeared in a number of prestigious venues such as Carnegie Hall, the National Gallery of Art, and the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, Washington, D.C., as well as leading concert halls and cathedrals within the United States and abroad. Under the leadership of its newly appointed director, Anwar Ottley, the choir continues the legacy and standard of excellence for which it has become known. Their concert featured various choral settings of the psalms, familiar hymn melodies of the faith, and spiritual songs that uplift the soul with works by Randall Stroope, Emma Lou Diemer, Felix Mendelssohn, Thomas Fetke, Anwar Ottley and more.
